Service Description

A seven week course of watercolour classes for adult beginners and improvers. Each week I provide a project, a live painting demonstration and a step-by-step illustrated guide to the painting project. During a demonstration, I will show you various techniques and methods for creating different effects with watercolours and tips for using different brushes, paints, and paper. The demonstrations are also shown on a large television so you can see the detail in the live demonstration. I also provide individual guidance where you can ask questions and get feedback on your own work. Each term I provide an illustrated step by step book of the projects with reference photos. The book includes guides for; choosing a colour palette and mixing colour, stretching paper and using white. Painting projects will be: painting on black paper, painting: a still life, creating depth in a landscape, a pen and wash landscape, painting tulips and painting a daffodil.
