Service Description

Come along for a creative and relaxing day learning how to use watercolour to paint people. I will give group and individual demonstrations of the painting techniques and tips on colour mixing. During the demonstrations, I explain my process step-by-step and I will show you various techniques and methods for creating different effects with watercolours. One of the great things about attending a demonstration is that you can see the techniques being used in real-time and ask questions during the demonstration. You will be able to paint from a variety of photographs of different figures and I will give individual guidance and encouragement. You will produce a painting of figures. The number of figures will depend on your painting speed. There is no rush and you can paint as many figures as you would like to. There will be notes explaining the techniques used during the workshop for you to take home. Please arrive at 9.45am. This will allow you time to familiarise yourself with the amenities, meet me and your fellow participants and enjoy a coffee or tea. The demonstration will start at 10am and we finish at 4pm. If you need to leave earlier that is fine. All courses are for adults age 18 plus. You will need to bring: Watercolour paper (if possible Arches 140lb/300gsm cotton Cold pressed or rough surface).
