A creative and relaxing one day course. A workshop learning to use a variety of techniques to achieve texture in your paintings. Learn how to use splattering, cling film, wax resist and salt to create exciting mark making and textures . I will demonstrate the techniques and apply them in a painting. Learn how to use masking fluid to reserve the white of the paper. There will be a variety of photographs of subjects with varied textures such as rusty locks, peeling paint, old doorways, and other rusty objects. Tea, coffee and cake provided but please bring your own lunch. You are welcome to arrive from 9.45am, demonstration will start at 10.00am and we finish at 4.00pm. Pay on the day by card, cash or cheque.
For the Autumn term you are able to cancel your place on the weekly classes up to the day before the term starts without incurring any cancellation charge. Once the term has started you have an allocated place for the term. If your circumstances change during the term and you have to cancel I will try to fill your place, but if I cannot fill your place there is no refund for the remaining term fee.
